Rang in 2012 with a weekend trip to Bend (The outdoor adventure/brewery capital of Oregon).
A great way to be motivated to start working out and being more active in the new year… spend the last 3 days of the old year snowboarding morning to afternoon, shoveling 2 feet of snow out from around your car in the evening and snowshoeing at night.
My body aches but I am compelled to never let myself get so out of shape again.
Still on my mind…
Took a trip down the coast… came into contact with a poisonous plant… it got infected… my ankles still look like a burn victim… but it was all worth it. Time with friends was a pure blessing.

If I was I Tiger I can only pray I would be this cute. And I would just never want to be a monkey because they do gross things.

I like Sir Ken Robinson and not just because he is British and therefore has a beautiful voice to listen to. This guy got me thinking and I totally agree with him.
The last time I traveled through Shasta I left that county with a $300 fine lingering over my head. This time I decided to slow down a bit and enjoy the scenery. I was happy with that decision to say the least.
This song came on pandora and made me really happy as I was cleaning our once disgusting, but now temporarly clean kitchen… and so i thought I would share it.

As senseless as it seems, I somehow continue to find great enjoyment in it.
